Day Twelve

This is a pork butt. I think it is ridiculously disgusting. I am making pulled-pork tacos for the Super Bowl tomorrow. I have every intention of making this.... pork butt... my last red meat meal. I don't like to touch it, i don't like to cook it, and really unless it's a supurbly done filet minogne from a fancy Steakhouse, I don't like to taste it either. Taking all this into consideration I have decided to try to go red meat free! Eventaully I will probably be a vegetarian, but until I can get myself eating healthier as a whole, I feel that I need to have chicken and ground turkey available for protien! Just thought I'd share!

Day Eleven

Today I got to take care of my friends little girl Aubrey! She's a little over 3 months old and such a sweetheart. Bryson was immediately enamored with 'Auubee' and was a really big helper all day! He especially liked feeding her babbles (bottles). Part of me secretly hoped it would have been hard to take care of the two of them.... it wasn't! :)
Part of today included a very important decesion... I signed up for personal training... and got my butt KICKED!! I have sore muscles in places I didn't even know I had muscles! But I cannot tell you how 'empowered' I feel committing to work out a minimum of two days a week with a trainer, a pilates class, a yoga class and optional boot camp on Saturdays!

Day Ten

Hooray for planning ahead and thank goodness for crock-pots. This became dinner in five minutes. Got to love it!

Day Nine

With both of us being sick, Bryson has not been in the best of moods lately, especially when I'm taking his picture. When I went in to get him from nap today, he had TWO paci's in his mouth. I asked him if he was having a rough day.... this was his response.

Day Eight

Today was our last day taking care of Luca. We sure will miss him! We're already planning a few playdates. 'Goo-ca' is the first thing Bryce asks for in the morning. I'm nervous this means he's ready for a sibling!

Day Seven

Bryson is my little dare-devil. He loves to ride on Nate's shoulders... even though he still makes his little nervous giggle! This is Bryce trying to brush Nate's hair, though he was really just beating on him with the brush!

Day Six

I joined a gym! Time to bust out the kicks and get my butt in gear. My goal is 20 pounds by August. I'm hoping that writing it here, for prosperity's sake, will help me stick to my goal.

Day Five

That's right, I golf in heels! It's the way I do things! Did you know there's such thing as indoor golf? I spent the evening golfing on a Hawaiian golf course.... it felt like we were in Hawaii too being that the heaters were pumping on us ALL NIGHT! I also managed to capture a decent picture of Nate and I... another rare occurrence!

Day Four

Today we went to Gym! After just one class Bryson is now willing to walk on the balance beam *almost* by himself. Well, he tries at least!

Day Three

I strongly dislike posting pictures of myself but since today 'kinda' revolved around me getting a new do, I thought that would be a good memory of today. So here's the before and after! Shorter and "blondeisher" (yep made myself a new word)!

Day Two

Bryson and Luca really enjoy hanging out together but they haven't quite figured out sharing... this morning they seemed to have come to a mutual agreement to share the monkey chair. This didn't last long!

Day One

Bryson decided to show me our new President on the television. His Grammie tried to teach him to say 'Obama', however, interestingly enough Bryson calls him Omommy. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So here's the deal...

As some of you may know I have had the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of women on a graphic design website. One of these lovely ladies introduced us to Project 365 which is a 'One Photo a Day' challenge. My reason for starting this is simple... I am amazed at how fast time goes by, and Bryson's daily changes have taught me that I should never take this time for granted. I'm taking on Project 365 so that I have a permanent record of a year in our lives! I can't wait to see how this goes!

Watch Here!

This is my latest project, because you all know I need one more thing to do a day! So keep an eye out soon for an explanation of my newest endeavor!
